Once again by popular demand, Granite Bay Flycasters will be at the Salmon Festival on October 9th & 10th, 2004. My name is Alex Giannini. My Father and I are coordinating the Granite Bay Flycasters booth at the Salmon Festival this year and we need your help. Jim Hunter has also offered to assist us with organizing the festival.

Because what we did last year was so successful and everyone had fun, we are going to do the same thing again this year. So we'll include the popular fly tying and fly casting activities.

We need volunteers for the Club Information Booth, the Fly Tying Booth and the Fly Casting Area along the shoreline of Lake Natomas.  Even if you are new to Fly Tying and Fly Casting we still need your help.  The sooner you contact me the better chance you will have at picking the hours you want to work.  Everyone that volunteers gets a free parking pass that will make entry free into the close by parking area.

For those of you that have never tied a Wooly Bugger before and want to learn, I will be at the September meeting before it starts and I will show you how to tie one.  It is simple.

A sign-up sheet will be available at the September Meeting or you can call Vic and Alex Giannini at 916-784-7422 or e-mail us at freshwater_flyfisher@hotmail.com
