Raley’s Market in Granite Bay

Advanced Fly Tying with Bill Carnazzo and others (see below) - We will be offering a six evening advanced fly tying class starting on January 23, 2006. This class is for solid intermediate tiers who want to increase their skill level. Please don’t sign up unless you have actually achieved the intermediate level, as the class syllabus will assume the basic ability to easily and quickly perform many standard tying techniques.

The class will be conducted on five or six consecutive Monday evenings commencing January 23, 2006 at 6:30PM. I have reserved the Event Center at Raley’s Market in Granite Bay for this class. The plan for the class is somewhat atypical, but is organized to introduce a variety of styles taught by different instructors. The lineup is as follows:

    Feb. 6         Tying salt water poppers             Leo Gutterres

    Feb. 13       Tying still water patterns             Jim Christensen

This is going to be a great class. We will limit it to the first eight members who sign up and pay the $25 fee that has been set by the Board of Directors. It’s first come-first serve, and the first sign up sheet will be at the November general meeting.
