Update: Date has been changed from June 2 to June 16. The spots were filled by the first six drawn from the pot; one member called to say he couldn't make it, so the person whose name was drawn 7th was called and accepted. I'm going to see if Andy can do a second clinic for us. - Bill C.

I’ve made arrangements for a fee-based "Czech Nymphing" Clinic for a limited number of  Granite Bay Flycasters members with Andy Burk on the Truckee River.

This clinic provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to anglers wanting to branch out and expand their skills. Andy is an industry professionals and we need to pay him for his  time. However, the fees are nominal compared to what you will gain in terms of skills, techniques, and river savvy.

The Czech Nymphing Clinic with Andy Burk on the Truckee River will be an all-day event Saturday, June 16, 2007. It will be limited to six Granite Bay Flycasters members. The cost will be $55 per person. Each angler will need to provide food and (if desired) lodging (or camping)—these are not included.

I will shortly have more details on the exact meeting place, equipment, etc. for this clinic and will get that information out to the membership. There will be a sign up sheet at the April general meeting, and, if the clinic is not full by then, at the May general meeting.
