The Heenan Lake Interpretive Display is up! Assembly of the main display structure was completed on Saturday, July 26th. Installation of the actual display materials was done by Friday, August 29th (also the lake's opening day) just in time for a nice dedication 'ceremony' that morning. The wonderful, hand-carved wooden sign that tops off the display was installed after these pictures were taken. Special thanks go to Barbara and Joe Bania for spearheading GBF's considerable, long-running support and efforts on this extensive project, the High Sierra Flycasters for originating the project and participating in many aspects of its execution, Mike Radoff for contributing his skills (and time) producing the wooden signs, and all the following GBF members who volunteered their time and energy to bring this project to life: Rick and Fran Radoff, Ron and Jeanne English, Gene and Susan Goss, Michael and Katherine Gervais, John Bergman, Dave Baker, Bill Urig, Lee Smith, John Carroz, and Mike Brune.
