Our first annual president's fishout is upon us
and it is going to be great. I hope everyone can make it to the Bar-B-Que and
the One -Fly contest.
To get to the camp area take I-80 east to the Highway 20 turnoff. Drive down Highway 20 about 5 miles until you see a road to the right that says Bowman Lake Road and Sierra Discovery Center. You will also see two "Ted Kazinski" type cabins by the turn. About 1/4 of a mile on the left side you will see our private camp area next to the Bear River.
Please bring a few pieces of firewood for the big
community fire pit and sing along.
If you happen to have a halogen type flood light
on a tripod please let me know. I'm talking about the kind you buy at Home
Depot for working at night on cars or construction type stuff. I saw a
group up there last week and they used them to light up the covered area
where you do dishes and Bar-B-Que.
