Indian Creek Reservoir

We had a great fishout with the CFFU club at Indian Creek Reservoir over this weekend.  Almost everyone caught fish - and some, like John Peterson, caught quite a few.  The Saturday potluck was a huge success, too, and after returning from catching a few more trout after dinner, the Saturday night campfire was a nice retreat - with good drink and conversation.

With our campsites right on the shore of this small lake, the setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend of fishing, dining, a little more fishing, and a lot more dining!!!  Convenience was the key as we were able to park the boats and tubes on the shore right in front of the campsites.  A good number of 14-22” rainbows were caught within a few hundred yards of camp!

Special thanks to the two club presidents, Valerie Dunn (CFFU) and Gary Flanagan, for supporting this enjoyable event.  With any luck, this will become a club tradition!
