This is a GBF sponsored fishout at Pyramid Lake, Nevada on March 20 – 22, 2005.  Sign-up at the February and March general meetings. Accommodations are available at Crosby's Lodge in Sutcliff at the lake; some of us will also be staying in Reno.

We will be fishing primarily from pontoon boats and float tubes. We fished this way in early December and were very successful!  Ladders are also used in case the wind kicks up waves; otherwise traditional wading is also possible.  Special note...This water is VERY COLD...so, be sure that you have your warmest waders and insulated socks...long underwear is also a plus!

Cutthroat Trout Season Regs:

October 1st thru June 30

NO BAIT ALLOWED

Only artificial lures can be used

A slot limit is in effect:

Under 16" throwback

16" - 19" keeper

19" - 24" throwback

Over 24" keeper

Daily bag limit: two (2) trout per person, of which only one (1) may be larger than 24"
