Bill Carnazzo flyfishes the Middle Fork of the American River

GBF founding member Bill Carnazzo will present Flyfishing the Upper Drainage of the American River at our July general meeting. Come and learn how to access and fish the various streams of this local river!

Monthly Meetings

Monthly Club Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. (Come early! Park entry gates close at 7:00PM in winter months.) Visitors are always welcome! Program & Directions. (Held at the Granite Bay 'Activity Center' on the shores of beautiful Folsom Lake).

List of Past Speakers and their bios

Conservation Meetings starting in October 2008 are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.  New location: Meet at the Round Table Pizza at 4400 San Juan Av. Fair Oaks, CA

Fly Tying Jam Sessions are usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the clubhouse and start at 6:30 pm.  Come and tie or watch the experts tie the Fly of the Month and other patterns for this time of the year. Changes affecting the time or date of these sessions are announced at the preceding month's general club meeting.  (Fly Tying Jams are free & open to club members and their guests)

Board Meetings (click link to agenda archive) occur on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00PM at the clubhouse. (GBF Board meetings are open to Club members and invited guests only)
