Fly Tying for Early Season N. Calif. Rivers

Our speaker for March is Rick Fox, a Pro Staff Member with some of the biggest names in the business. He conducts on-the-water clinics for Scott Fly Rods throughout California and has worked in the past with Mel Kreiger on a number of popular programs. Rick is a contributing author & photographer for a number of fly fishing publications.  He is also a contract tier with Umpqua Feather Merchants. His Radical Caddis series of flies are highly popular. They have garnered quite the attention from anglers on the Lower Sac to anglers on the White River in Arkansas. 

 

At GBF’s March meeting he will focus on innovative early season tying ideas with tying demos.....focusing on the waters of Northern California....The Upper Sac, Pit and McCloud…and tactics and tips for the early season.
